What's on in the Andrew David Associates & Honeybrook Farm Cookery Theatre Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 October

The Andrew David Associates & Honeybrook Farm Cookery Theatre is located in the Corn Market next to the Food Market tent on Wimborne Minster Green and will be the home to cookery demonstrations and workshops.

SATURDAY 27 OCTOBER

Time Description
10.30 - 11am Something Fishy!
Matt Cook, Fish Face

Matt will demonstrate the process of fish preparation and then demonstrate a number of seasonal fish dishes for you to try at home.  So join us for lobster fun!
11.15 - 11.45am Catch that pigeon…
Luke Stuart from White Pepper Cookery School & Lee Moreton from The Dorset Charcuterie Co.

Luke & Lee cook Pigeon Wellington with a modern twist and treat us to a live smoking demonstration. 
12 - 12.45pm Dishes Fit for a King!
Ian Gibbs, Kings Arms, Christchurch

Ian cooks duo of lamb rump and slow braised shoulder with peal barley smoked bacon & thyme risotto. He will also cook fillet of sea bream with Alex’s Mudeford Seafood
Paella.
1 - 1.45pm 25 mile menu at The Pig
James Golding & Garry Eveleigh, The Pig, New Forest

James and forager Garry look at late season foraging and demonstrate the way in which they utilise everything found on The Pig’s 25 mile menu.
2 - 2.45pm Modern French Cuisine
Jun Tanaka

Come and meet Jun Tanaka, Executive Chef at London's Pearl Restaurant, master of modern French cuisine & TV chef.  He will demonstrate baked figs with rosemary & cream cheese mousse, duck breast with caramelised chicory and lentils and roast turbot with wild mushrooms and clams.
3 - 3.30pm Seasonal fruit puddings using the best of local produce
Charlotte Pike, Go Free Foods

Lovely Charlotte will be demonstrating why she is our queen of baking by showing us how to make the perfect seasonal fruit pies

Gary Kilminster & Sean Paul Phippard, winner of the Harvest Fine Foods 'Yes Chef' competition

Gary, lead judge for the Harvest Fine Foods 'Yes Chef' competition and our youngest chef Sean, 16yrs will demonstrate the dish that propelled Sean to his title.
11 - 11.30am Fabulous cakes
Julia Cotton from Julia's Kitchen

Join Julia, our cake decorating expert, for a master class on creating beautiful cakes using a variety of professional techniques.
11.45am - 12.15pm Dorset’s best recipe? A new take on surf and turf!
Mark Hartstone, La Fosse at Cranborne

Mark demo's the dish that won him the Taste of Dorset's Best Recipe award: Crab mayonnaise with La Fosse at Cranborne's hot smoked pigeon, beetroot bhaji and peach salsa.
12.30 - 1.15pm Sophie Grigson
This is your chance to join Sophie, award-winning cookery writer and TV chef, for special demonstrations of a range of dishes using local ingredients.
1.30 - 2pm Best of the West!!
Jez Barfoot and Matt Davey, The Tickled Pig, and Greg Etheridge, Number 9

An exciting demonstration where Matt, Jez and Greg showcase the best that the restaurants of West Street have to offer
2.15 - 2.45pm Sophie Grigson
This is your chance to join Sophie, award-winning cookery writer and TV chef, for special demonstrations of a range of dishes using local ingredients.
3 - 3.30pm Coward by name, not by nature!
James Coward, Chef Proprietor of Les Bouviers Restaurant with Rooms
James Coward of Les Bouviers Restaurant with Rooms has just celebrated his 27th year in business. This demonstration provides a 'sneak peek' into how using quality produce and a keen eye for detail can create culinary masterpieces and give away some of the secrets of having run a successful restaurant for two decades.
  We will be running wine workshops alongside these demos, please keep an eye on the website for details.
