What's on in the Tops Fun Food Factory

Saturday 27 - Sunday 28 October | 10am-4pm

The Tops Fun Food Factory, sponsored by Tops Day Nurseries, Organix and Lemur Landings, is located in the Community Learning & Resource Centre next to the King Street car park and a short walk from the Minster. Come and join us for two days of fantastic FREE activities for children and babies.

Don't miss Jamie Jigsaw and his amazing show. With his hilarious magic and fantastic circus skills, Jamie Jigsaw is sure to entertain the whole family.

CBeebies 'Rhyme Rocket' - join us for a rare opportunity to meet First Officer Ditty and Professor Poet as they blast through space on a mission to collect poetry and songs from around the universe "one rhyme at a time." They will be blasting into the Tops Fun Food Factory to entertain with stories and songs and will be on hand to sign autographs.

Kids Kitchen

SUNDAY 28 OCTOBER

The Kids Kitchen is located in the Hilda Coles Open Learning Centre in the grounds of the Priest's House Museum on the High Street. Here Julia Cotton from Julia's Kitchen will be hosting workshops for children ages 7 - 16. These will be hands on sessions and everyone attending will be able to make beautiful cakes or pasta to take home.

12 - 12.30pm

Cupcake workshop

After a demonstration by Julia and her team, each child will decorate his/her own cupcakes making their own novelty topper.

Pasta is loved by most children, during this hands on workshop after a demonstration, each child will make their own pasta to take home to cook later.

What's on in the Andrew David Wine Tasting Room

Connected to the Cookery Theatre in the Corn Market the Andrew David Wine Tasting Room will be the venue for "Simple guides to Wine Tasting" by the Wimborne Wine Society. This will complement the demonstrations in the Cookery Theatre.

Come and try two wines that have been chosen to complement the seasonal fish dishes that Matt Cook will prepare.
12.00 - 12.30pm What Wine goes with Pigeon? Try two wines that have been picked to accompany Luke Stuart and Lee Moreton's demonstration.
1.00 - 1.30pm Wines fit for a King? What will you think of the wine's selected to go with the Ian Gibb's lamb and fish courses.
2.00 - 2.30pm Follow James Golding & Garry Eveleigh's foraging session by tasting wines that will complement the results of their hunting.
3.00 - 3.30pm Call my Bluff. Take part in this fun game to see if you can guess the wines selected to go with Jun's modern French cuisine.

12.30 - 1pm
After Mark Hartstone's demonstration taste the wines The Society thinks you will enjoy if you prepare this modern take on surf n turf at home.
1.30 - 2pm
Follow Sophie Grigson's demonstration by tasting the wines that have been chosen to complement her dishes.
2.15 - 2.45pm Try two wines and decide if they enhance the mystery game dishes made by Greg from Number 9 and Jez and Matt from The Tickled Pig in their Head to Head.
3 - 3.30pm Taste the two wines that have been selected to go with the food demonstrated by Sophie Grigson.
3.45 - 4.15pm Name that Wine. Take part in this fun game to see if you can name the wines picked to follow James Coward's workshop.
